Reporting into the Sales Director you will focus on top of the funnel lead generation activities from prospecting and generating initial interest to booking meetings, building a pipeline of potential new customers.
Key duties will include:
- Lead Generation, identifying potential customers and generating leads through research, networking, and outreach.
- Prospecting, building account lists and be the first point of contact for all of our outbound sales efforts.
- Qualification of new prospects.
- Book meetings with potential new customers and communicate the value of our solution.
- Generate a pipeline of potential opportunities, keep track of all your activity and work with the rest of the Go To Market team to craft messaging that resonates with our audience.
- Create email campaigns, messaging, leverage our marketing and communicate our business value.
- Experience in a similar sales role, ideally with SaaS and within the sustainability, climate or ESG space.
- Demonstrable experience of success in a sales role.
- Strong understanding of prospecting target accounts, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Good relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desirable are:
- Experience working in a start up business that is undergoing rapid growth.
- Experience in an ESG SaaS solution business.
- Passion for sustainability, plus an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the carbon accounting space.
