A rapidly, growing ESG Software (SaaS) business with its own consultancy arm is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be based anywhere in America, working remotely and supporting their North American expansion.

Reporting into the USA Country Manager you will focus on top of the funnel lead generation activities from prospecting and generating initial interest to booking meetings, building a pipeline of potential new customers.

Key duties will include:

  • Lead Generation, identifying potential customers and generating leads through research, networking, and outreach.

  • Prospecting, building account lists and be the first point of contact for all of our outbound sales efforts.

  • Qualification of new prospects.

  • Book meetings with potential new customers and communicate the value of our solution.

  • Generate a pipeline of potential opportunities, keep track of all your activity and work with the rest of the Go To Market team to craft messaging that resonates with our audience.

  • Create email campaigns, messaging, leverage our marketing and communicate our business value.

Candidates MUST have:

  • Experience in a similar sales role with SaaS product and within the sustainability, climate or ESG space.

  • Demonstrable experience of success in a sales role.

  • Strong understanding of prospecting target accounts, from lead generation to closing deals.

  • Good relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desirable are:

  • Experience working in a start up business that is undergoing rapid growth.

  • Experience in an ESG SaaS solution business.

  • Passion for sustainability, plus an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the carbon accounting space.

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of up to $80,000, good OTE and benefits.
