A leading, commercial real estate business is seeking an Energy Auditor / Energy Manager to be based in their central London office or remotely.

Reporting into the ESG Director and working with the ESG team, you will lead their building energy auditing and reporting processes, advising clients on energy performance improvements, supporting net zero reporting and targets.

Key duties will include:
- Conduct energy surveys of buildings, writing reports covering energy efficiency and decarbonisation audits across a variety of property types for legislative reporting, e.g. ESOS.
- Identification of ways to reduce energy and carbon in the operation of plant and systems through client properties.
- Recommending opportunities for the improvement of systems and also highlighting any issues with building management systems (BMS) to support reduction strategies.
- Build and maintain successful relationships with clients, tenants and colleagues, ensuring good communication between all parties.
- Support the ESG team to generate and deliver bespoke reports to clients.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify relevant data and share knowledge to support problem solving.
- Analysis of energy performance data to support reporting against industry benchmarks, e.g. REEB.
- Provide oversight of the implementation of low net carbon solutions.

Candidate MUST have:
- Experience in a similar role delivering energy audits on buildings, assessing building energy performance.
- Understanding of how buildings operate, covering areas such as building management systems (BMS), building physics or HVAC systems.
- Data analysis and reporting skills.
- Able to manage multiple workstreams concurrently, prioritising your workload and displaying good problem solving skills.
- You will be required to visit properties and so a full UK Drivers licence is needed.

Desirable are:
- Experience assessing building performance of commercial property portfolios.
- Background working with property heating or electrical systems.

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of up to £60,000 based on your skills, plus a bonus, pension and great benefits.
