A rapidly, growing ESG Software (SaaS) business with its own consultancy arm is seeking an Account Executive to be based anywhere in North America, working remotely and supporting their North American expansion.

Reporting into the USA Country Manager you will manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deal, thereby driving growth and supporting the business’s expansion.

Key duties will include:

  • Lead Generation: Identifying potential customers and generating leads through research, networking, and outreach.

  • Sales Presentations: Conducting compelling product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.

  • Needs Assessment: Understanding customer needs and tailoring solutions to meet those requirements.

  • Proposal Development: Creating detailed and customised proposals and contracts that align with customer needs and company goals.

  • Negotiation and Closing: Effectively negotiating terms and closing deals to achieve sales targets.

  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Sales Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities and providing regular reports on sales performance.

Candidates MUST have:

  • Good experience in a similar role within the sustainability, climate or ESG environment for a technology SaaS business.

  • Successful track record in sales roles within the sustainability, technology or environmental sectors.

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.

  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desirable are:

  • Experience working in a start up business that is undergoing rapid growth.

  • Experience in an ESG SaaS solution business.

  • Passion for sustainability, plus an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the carbon accounting space.

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of up to US$110,000, great OTE and good benefits.
